Make room for the important

I lost a friend in a car accident recently. Age 44.
He died of a medical condition before he crossed the median and hit the oncoming vehicle. He left behind a wife and 2 kids.
His wife described herself as “shattered.”

After a life tragedy like this, I am compelled to examine my life priorities.

  • Where am I?
  • Where do I want to be?
  • How do I want to spend my time? My life?

Livin on the Skinny is about living beautifully with less.
Living with less is like editing your life…cutting things out.

I want to LIVE life. I want to make room for the IMPORTANT.
Raleigh edit life

Debt and Clutter are two thieves of time.
Who wants to spend valuable hours  searching for pants in a heap of clothes?

Our focus for this year is to edit debt and clutter out of our lives and find way to keep the debt and clutter from piling up (pun intended) or at least clear the piles away more often.

I’ll be leading the way in real time – LIVE!

Why would you love to edit the debt and  clutter right out of your life?

  1. One way my husband and I are attempting to live on the skinny is to sell our home and downsize. Its emotionally difficult, but this will free us up to buy a home without a mrtg.

    • Janet, I can assure you, once you are through this process and settled in your downsized home with no mortgage, a feeling of peace will descend over you!Do you know how many people would love to be able to do what you are doing? Kudos to you and your husband!
